Baccano

This goes down as 1 of my favorite anime. This is another one of those Netflix anime that I kept avoiding. I eventually started watching it but got to confused in what the man was explaining to the girl so I stopped watching it for awhile and started to watch the Golgo 13 moves. After watching the Golgo 13 movies I went back to see if the series was going to turn out to be good. After the explanation the story starts, off with everyone getting off the train that the story is about. This story really has no beginning or ending it just talks about certain situations that happen between some immortals. The anime series is about a group of immortals in the past and how they became immortal. Also it jumps to the future of that time to another group of mortals who become immortal due to the fact that someone was able to make another batch that could make more immortals. This time is around the 1930s and this is the time with the train I think it's called the Pussy Foot and the trip it makes which has a lot of gangsters on the train all with a different purpose but they all run into each other. Out of the gangs is one psychotic group that loves blood and killing people. The leader of the group is very crazy but pretty funny and he finds a female who I think really will love him which makes me want to read the novels and see what happens to that relationship. Another group is on some crazy worship of someone and wants to kill everyone; these are the people I'm talking about that are dressed in black. I might not have got who they were really good. While the small gang the
Jacuzzi gang just wanted to rob everyone for money, they are kind of nice though but still they are gangsters. I like to just give an overall review and don't want to get deep into the storyline and spoil the whole story but if you like gangsters, people being killed, immortals, and the 1930's you will love this.
The couple in the story is the funniest in the series and it will be a huge shock for you to find out when they actually became immortal. Remember their faces because if you watch other stories from this author you will see them in it. Overall I give the story a 6 out of 6 with a funny face because I wish they would keep going with the story, even though it won't ever have an end since they're immortals and all cool with each other but you never know what will happen in the next 1000 years.

Sword of the Stranger

This story was pretty good reminding me of a Ninja Scroll type movie, same type of artwork.
The story is about a boy and his dog who are being chased after by a group of foreigners of Japan who wants to use the boy's blood as something like a painless elixir which causes who ever to drink the blood to feel invincible. At first I thought they couldn't die but it is possible but because of there adrenaline rushing through there body they tend to not feel pain and in battle they will keep fighting until every limb has been ripped off and they are incapable of killing their target. At first I thought they were well trained but some of them didn't even care about protecting there body after taking a dose it was kind of stupid with that. As the story starts off the boy is being chased by the people who just killed everyone in the temple that he was living. He eventually runs into a vagabond and makes a deal with him to take him to this buddhist monastery. It wasn't that easy for the boy to make the man agree to take him but when his dog was poisoned and needed a doctor the man felt bad that if the dog died the boy wouldn't have no one. The boy is arrogant and rude in the beginning but it makes sense since everyone is trying to kill him and his only companion is a dog. He was very lucky to have ran into that man. As they travel to the place where the doctor is they start gaining a friendship even though the boy is still skeptical into trusting anyone.
Eventually they get to the area where the man hands the boy over to a Buddhist who is secretly working for the foreigners but because of a fluke the vegabond was able to realize that the boy was kidnapped and taken away. The ending was pretty good and emotional left you in the question of whether the man lived or died. They never gave his name out and where he came from which made him more mysterious. Over all I give this a 3 out of 6. It was okay but not great like the Ninja Scroll movie. It seemed more like an OVA compared to a movie and really not much storyline to it the boy has special blood people are after him the boy gets rescued the end. It's good to watch but I think they could have did a little more to make it more exciting. If you have time and nothing better to do it's something to waste time but nothing that you would be super glad you watched.

Tears to Tiara

I liked her this was my favorite character in the series Octavia

This story has alot of names that are found in the Christian religion but the names actual come from ancient England before the Romans took over the area. I had to do some research on this to find that out since I was getting annoyed with the main characters calling their savior and hero lucifer. Now I can't be for certain if the author really had ideas of making this some type of satan anime but looking at most Japanese anime some people don't believe in religion or just writing about a certain ancient religion and using the names. In the beginning I thought I wasn't going to like it even with all these wierd names due to the fact that the characters had a funny accent and they didn't seem to bright but watching more of it I started to get use to the accents and eventually started liking them. The main hero which is something like a spirit is called a devil through the ancient myths that the people passed on talking about him. As the story progressed it became more clear that the ancient people from these ancient people mistaken that he was a demon, even with the name of lucifer made me skeptical about the charade.

After finishing the series I also found out that it was some type of porn video game but the people who played it said the sex scenes came out of nowhere and it just didn't seem to fit in right with the storyline. Some of the scenes from watching the anime I could tell that it could put alittle sex scene in there because most of those women were madly in love with lucifer and I wouldn't doubt they would come in and get some quick dick. There is one scene though when lucifer is talking to the priestess of the village and he was saying something about missing her coming in late at night to play with him, obviously that mean he was getting some from her.

I wasn't shocked finding out about it being a porn game also from watching the series and seeing all the provocative outfits everyone was wearing. The story does have a basic video game plot but it was very enjoyable to see them battle and look like they have no way out of it and then being rescued by one of the main characters I bet you can choose in the game. Some of the stories that take place in it like the love between all lucifer's wives and the young king trying to become a true king of the land. It's a fairytale story with ups and downs and a lot of war the funny part was when the young king stabbed lucifer and ran off like a little bitch ashame. Overall the story I give a 3 out of 6.

It was pretty okay but just seeing the main character as some super being named lucifer made me a lower score but it wouldn't dramatically jump up if the name was different. Maybe if they made this into a borderline hentai and showed the sex scenes I probably would have raised the score alittle higher.

Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit

This was a fantastic story which shocked me I never thought I would have started to watch it from just looking at the covers on netflix. I have always seen it on netflix for the past few years but thought it was going to be a corny lame ass story and I didn't want to watch something so bad after coming off so good anime. It turned the story was a great adventure about a female warrior who has to take care of this little prince while his father is out to kill him. From looking at the trailer the female seemed like a manly women and at the time of watching the clip I think I had just finished Girls Bravo so I was more interested in an ecchi story than an action or the main female character had to be aleast alright looking.

I eventually started watching it and it became one of those series that kept me going to the next episode to see what was going to happen next. The story is about a young prince who has a water spirit living inside of him. This spirit is considered a demon by the king and he has his men go kill his son so the land wouldn't be cursed with a drought. It seems very harsh for the King to do this to his son but he was thinking that this would help out the country so he would sacrifice his youngest son for the sake of the country. Now if I was the King I wouldn't have been so quick to kill my son without looking if there was a way to prevent my son from dying. At first I thought the King was an evil tyrant but as the story progresses it will show you that he was just panicking like all the others on his side and just started killing people to hope that it will solve everything. Luckily the female warrior Moribito was walking by in the area and she saves the little prince while the kings' men were trying to assassinate him once again. The queen eventually ask her to save her son but kind of gave her a protect my son or die type order. It's funny throughout the story the king's men try to assassinate the kid and woman and Moribito would fight them off while not trying to kill them. If she did try to kill them it would have been no problem reminding me of Rurouni Kenshin. After the kings' men finally finds out that there is a way to help the water spirit and the prince they work with Moribito

but at the end when everything is done they try to kill Moribito so that no one will ever know about the events that happen and to make the prince seem more like a hero for saving the country and not talking about anything what Moribito did to keep the king alive. They also wanted to protect there own ass from looking so bad trying to go after the prince and kill him. This whole adventure would have been very simple if all the sides in the story decided to listen to each other to help solve the problem without trying to kill the other thinking that the other is considered barbaric. Didn't talk about the other main characters and places because I suggest you watch the story because it has a good begginning and end. Overall I give the story a 5 out of 6. Moribito I hope ends up with the dude who took care of her wounds all her life. I don't know why she didn't tell him to come with her or just stay home she was in the age to start making babies.

Claymore

Claire

This was a great series that I wish picked up a big fan base like Naruto and kept going with the anime. But the manga comes out once a month so I guess they decided to stop it with the way it ended. Not saying the ending was bad it just that when I found out about the manga and the differences I was shocked that the two main characters spit up around the time they were running from #3 and still have not ran back into each other. I'm like 3 mangas back on the recent vol so I have to catch up but this is about the anime so I will post another blog talking about the manga in the near future, probably when I catch up with the latest vol since it had my favorite character Maria on the front cover. The two stories are pretty much the same through out the beginning but the last two episodes change the story so that it can end compared to having a 7 year timeskip. They still can bring back the anime because if they just exclude the last two episodes and start from there they will be able to probably have another 13-26 episodes before having to stop and wait for the manga to get more volumes. I liked the ending of the anime alot but when I looked up the manga I realized that alot more happened and it just didn't end like that. Raki and Claire have yet to run back into each other but they are still hoping to find each other. I don't know if it's love in a romantic way or a sister brother love but they intend to find each other. Sorry haven't even told you about what it's about. The story is about a group of female half yoma half humans called Claymores, because they carry a huge claymore, who kill the yoma and The Awakened Beings who are alot stronger than the Claymores and Yoma. There is a big reason why it's only females that are capable of being Claymores, there are male ones but you have to watch the anime to find out what happened to them. The funny thing about it is that the Claymores are super strong but it's still very hard to kill the yoma making it a life and death battle almost everytime they go out. The main character is Claire who is ranked #49 out of all the Claymores she's considered weak even though she is a pretty good fighter. In the beginning it makes it seem like the rank system was wrong but when they start introducing other Claymores you start seeing the huge gap between Claire and the others especially the single digit numbers. Because Claire works for the Organization which made them and also other things for secretive goals she travels from village to village killing yoma for money. I don't want to go into details about the whole thing because it's very good to watch and start making your own theories and questions of what is going on. If you like it alot remember there is a manga that continues with what is going on and from the last part of the anime alot of things happened since than which makes it more interesting to read. The story is very complex and it always look like the main characters are not going to get out of this one, even though somehow they get lose it's not so easy compared to other type of action stories I have seen. My opinion the story really doesn't start until the 7 year time skip because Raki is pretty much a bitch throughout the whole anime. I do give him his respect though since he was hanging around all these super powerful people while being even a weak person amongst humans that takes alot of guts. I'm still enjoying this manga because it has a lot of action and adventure in it while showing Claire getting stronger after each battle she fights. She eventually turns on the organization because of what happens when they travel to the north, even in the manga this happens but in a different way.

My favorite characters in the story are Ophelia who fought Claire and became awakened she was crazy scary and I didn't think the two where going to be able to escape her I knew they weren't going to be able to kill her and the crunk ass Maria who is the leader of the Claymores that go against the Organization. Had to throw this end even though it's only in the manga when the Claymores of the organization take out Maria and she comes back that was pretty hard and she gets the G status for doing that. The #1 who holds it down but died in a fucked up way was Teressa of the faint smile who was untouchable but died because of that loser Priscilla. Overall (just grading the anime) I give the story a 5 out of 6 I enjoyed it alot but wish that they would continue with the story in the manga.
