.Hack//Liminality

This is part of the hack series and considered the second part which takes place during the time of the 3 games. I haven't played the games and probably never will but all the events in the 3 OVA series circles around the events in the 3 games. The story is about a group of people who are trying to figure out what's happening in the game which is causing certain people to go into a coma. It's funny how the first heroes in the series didn't bother to solve this but I guess the author tries to make it seem the others stopped playing the game and started doing normal things, since the main character of that story was in the game the whole time so wanted to get back out into the real world. The male character in this series seems like a pervert which makes it hard for people to even listen to him in the beginning. I would have called the cops on him real quick because he could have said why he was there a lot of times instead of seeming like a shady character that just tries to get into the panties of young girls. After he finally tells the girl why he's following her they team up with some others running around the real world helping Helba. I think they did a huge effort in helping the people in the comas but the characters in the game seemed to have all the action part. I wish they made another story showing what all happened in the games. This story pretty much has no action and at times can make you drowsy. If you don't know anything about the back series I suggest you don't watch this it will leave you with some questions, if you do get interested in the storyline. If you're familiar with this story it just tells the events that took place with the characters that helped outside of the game. Overall I give this 2 out of 6. It disappointed me from coming off of the first Hack series. Not saying that the first one was super great. The story after this one is .hack twilight bracelet saga but looking at the first episode kind of makes me think this one is going to be boring as well. Will have a blog about that in the future but from the way things are going it's going to be either on a long hold or blocked. 

.Hack//Sign Series

Ever since I started to watch anime online this would be the first anime I would see on the list, because it was in ABC order. It took me two years to finally read the plot but got confused with how many series they are and didn't know where to start. Finally a couple of years after that I put it on my objective to watch but never did. Then I would hear people in comments and blogs talking about how great the story was. So finally I decided this year to give the series a try and see what it was about.

        If you are into video games than this is for you. It's about a fantasy world game where a person gets trapped in it and he has to try to find a way out. The sign series is pretty much about this person trying to get out. At first he was a pain in the ass from not being friendly and always running when people come by to just befriend him. I understand a little since he is really in the game and some people could just attack him for fun making him feel pain. He could have opened up a little quicker than how long it took him to and some of his fear was just annoying but as the story progress it makes since why it was that way. This story really has no villain but people trying to achieve their own personal goal, which causes the conflict. At the end of the day it's still a game so some people see him as lying and it being impossible so not caring while others care and try to help him get out of the game. Each character in the series helped him because of their own reason but the man who played the warrior went the farthest in helping him out but he was rich and had a lot of money to just really throw around. As everyone says it does take a while for the story to pick up but it would have been crap if they tried to move along to fast. I have just completed the OVA's too to the story and it has a good ending. Really there wasn't a true bad guy so after the game was over the game pretty much went back to the same. Overall the story was interesting and had a good conclusion. I hope in the future they bring all the characters back to see how they turned out. Overall I give the series a 3 out of 6. It was pretty interesting and then again not that interesting.
